Dripping Pan-oramic

No report as such from the Dripping Pan yesterday as Lewes drew 1 apiece with Staines Town. We'll save the reports for the away days shall we!? I did however take a couple of panoramic shots of the Dripping Pan so I might as well stick them up on these pages. As usual click on the images if you want to enlarge them to the full screen.

The Dripping Pan - Lewes FC

The Theatre of Harveys

The real home of football - well sort of.

And just for good measure, lets have one of Freddy Foreman sending the Staines keeper the wrong way with the perfect penalty shall we (yes, why not - Ed).

We should have a report from the Rangers v Celtic Old Firm match from this Sunday on here within a few days. One of the EFW team popped up for that.

After that it's reports on Wealdstone v Lewes in the FA Cup and Weston-Super-Mare v Lewes in the league before we head out to Holland. Don't ever accuse us of being glory hunters here at EFW - In Holland we're going to see three of the bottom four teams in the Eredivisie in action. We love an underdog. Woof woof!

Whilst I'm here, thanks to the thousands of Croatians who have been logging onto EFW this weekend. Evidently, someone posted a link to EFW on a Hadjuk Split website and as such things have gone nuts on the old hits front. Puno hvala my Croatian friends!

I was at the Staines game poor performance first half but we brightened up second. Nice pics!

Hopfully be at the Weatherstone game, are you going by train? It looks an epic journey if so

Ali,

We'll be going to Wealdstone by train. It's only an hour to London and then 50 odd minutes by tube to Ruislip (nearest underground station to their ground). So it's not too bad - just remember that at present the Victoria Line doesn't run at weekends.

Having had another scan on the national rail enquiries its not as bad as maybe I first thought.

The game itself is worth £7,500 which would be precious precious money for the Rooks. But Wealdstone are 2nd in a respective Ryman Premier division so their not on bad form and will be desperate to progress to the next round, so going to be a difficult game on that basis.

UP THE ROOKS
