Your European Football Weekends

ITALY
Chris Durning and the love of his life 'Ali' have the world at their feet. They have 1 x loving relationship which they cemented by hop footing it over to the San Siro for a bit of Sunday worship.

Here's Ali with the San Siro at her feet. They saw Inter beat Catania in October. What a lovely couple - good luck to them!

Here's a nice photo of the Lazio end during the derby with Roma sent in by our man on the spot Giorgio.

Are you getting bored of the San Siro yet!? Me neither. Our Swedish correspondent Per-Gunnar Nilsson was at the Milan derby (15:02:09) which Inter won 2-1.

Check this panoramic photo out! Click on the photo to enlarge. Hats of to PGN for this beauty.

PGN didn't just settle for the Milan derby - oh no. He also went to Parma v Grosetto on Valentines Day.

Here are the Grosseto fans in one of the thinnest away ends I've ever seen.

Lastly, he rounded of the perfect weekend by attending Monza Brianza v Venezia at the Stadio Brianteo. The life of Brian eh!? You can read more about PGN's adventures at his splendid website here.

Another San Siro entry! This time our friends from Antwerp; Pieter, Jordi (pictured) and Roland went to see Inter v Torino (01:02:09).

The lads went to this match and to see Oasis in Milan during the same weekend. Back of the net!

Here's our man Roland mixing it with Inter's finest.

Jordi doing his finest James Richardson impression.

Our pal Ray sent these in from The Stadio Olimpico, Turin.

Raymundo went to see Torino v Roma (18:01:09). He did it as a day trip from England flying out and back in the same day.

The travelling Roma fans.

Ray loves his European Football Weekends. Next up for him is Utrecht, then Hamburg, then Hannover.....you get the picture.

The AC Milan fans in the Stadio Olimpico, Rome (11.01.09). Sent in by Giorgio. The match against Roma ended 2-2 and of course marked the debut of our Becks for the Rossoneri.

Motherwell fan Andy, his brother and pal Ray went to see Atalanta v Juve (21:12:08). Now that is one serious flag!

Juve won 3-1 in the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia. 10/10 and 5 UEFA gold stars from me for the ground name.

Hmm...I wonder what game this could be!?

Well I never it's our old chums Napoli. This time away to Siena.
These were sent in by our good friend Joris from Holland.

I take it they have an Italian sounding stadium name *checks notes* oh yes, The Stadio Artemio Franchi. Nice.

Our chum Giorgio sent these in from the Rome derby (16:11:08). Here are the Lazio fans.

And this is the Roma end.

Bologna v Lazio (19:10:08) anyone!? Thanks to Emiliano for sending in that little beauty.

Ivi (Borussia Dortmund fan) travelled by train from Dortmund to Udinese for the UEFA Cup match at the Stadio Friuli (02:10:08).

Ivi and thousands of other BVB fans endured a round trip of 33hrs to see their team. Dedication's what you need.

Agonisingly, BVB pulled back a two goal deficit on the night but then went out on penalties.

Lieven (Royal Antwerp fan from Belgium) completing our very own first hatrick of San Siro's on these pages - there are two more further down - Is there anyone who doesn't love a piece of the San Siro!?

Here's our man Patrick in the San Siro about to enjoy AC Milan v Celtic. You wait months for the San Siro and then three turn up in as many weeks (see further down the page).

At last! The San Siro - and relax. Thanks to Guy (Brighton fan) who went to AC Milan v Udinese in May 07. I could look at that roof all day.

"Two nice cold beers and a dry pretzel please mate" - Oh, sorry, I thought I was in Germany for a second, my mistake.
